It has been a few days since I have been able to go to the rehab and visit with him. He called on Tuesday and said he was getting a lot of therapy. I tried calling him twice yesterday but he never answers the phone. He is either out or someone has stuck it in the drawer and he doesn't hear it.

I have had a bladder infection and was on antibiotics for 7 days but felt it didn't get cleared up so went to the Dr. Tues again. They took another urine specimen which showed some blood in it. They are supposed to let me know today if the culture grew anything and if so they will put me back on the antibiotic. So all in all I haven't been feeling very good.

Sorry to hear this Spunky. Could they possibly change the antibiotic your taking. It don't seem it was working. My son had so many problems while young.

We finally found out he has to take sulfa drugs. I had no idea what we were giving him had no effect on his ear troubles. Then after another bout we gave him Ceclor and not Amoxicullin. After taking it for the amount of days the next day he complained his legs hurt. Ended up in the hospital with rash and pain. It took 10 days to get out of his system. Our bodies are very different. You take care.

I’m sorry you are still suffering from that dang bladder infection.

Hope it gets cleared up soon.

Did you see that Sen. Johnny Isakson is going to retire citing health reasons?

FTA:Isakson, 74, said he is leaving the job he loves because “mounting” health issues, including Parkinson’s disease, are “taking their toll.” He won a third term in 2016 and would have faced reelection in 2022.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2019/08/29/georgia_republican_sen_isakson_to_retire_over_

He was diagnosed some years back.

We both know the ravages of what Parkinson’s does to the body as well as the mind.

Wishing him the best of luck in the time he has left, he needs to enjoy his family.

But I can’t help but thing he has gotten and will get better care in the future than my dad or your hubby has gotten.

Hope you get better soon. While back, there was a trace of blood in my urine, had a bladder infection, took antibiotics, another urine test showed infection clear but still a trace of blood. They did a very expensive cat scan on me, the only thing found was a cyst on my ovary. Then the doctor did a very expensive 10 second test, he put something in my urethra and looked. The insurance claim said it was surgery? Bladder was clear, but spent a lot more money on a sonogram to check the ovarian cyst which had disappeared.

Hope you have a better time, and prayers for you and hubby.
