I grew up in the SW corner of Indiana - Louisville had absolutely NOTHING to do with any influence on us.
Our influence came from:
1) Bloomington - IU & Bobby Knight & shopping
2) Terre Haute: Stations 2 and 10; ISU & Larry Bird (French Lick native, ISU Alum)
3) Indianapolis: Stations 4 and 38 & shopping; Indy 500 and I suppose the Pacers (the Colts after I left for school); airport
4) Evansville: couple smaller colleges and some shopping
5) Chicago: school trips, 6 Flags, Bulls/Bears; big airport
6) Cincinnati: Kings Island
St. Louis and the Cardinals/Rams had more influence on us then Louisville
And that was it
