More associated with basketball, but I have to go with the St. Joseph’s Hawk...because he flaps his wings for the entire game.

I like mascots that are singular for the team, not plural individuals. I.e. The Tigers, Bulldogs, or Cougars suggest that they they're tough individually. But mascots like Crimson Tide, Green Wave, and Big Orange suggest the players think of themselves as a team (i.e. together we're the Green Wave) instead of individuals.

Of course I know who Little Sorrel was but had no idea he was a college mascot.
Does Ole Miss even allow Rebel Yells anymore?
I also remember when Florida had Confederate battle flags on their helmets. Probably around 1964.

Syracuse? They changed their mascot name from Orangemen to just Orange years ago. I’m still not sure if they mean the color or the fruit.
Uga #1? That’s just stupid.
And what about Bucky?!!

They used to be the Indians, so they get points for being on the cutting (blunt?) edge of PC.

LOL, I remember one Gator Growl, they did a skit were they were dropping various items from the top of Century Tower (ala Letterman), finally they got around to showing a Bulldog, and everybody in the stadium, gasped, then the guy had this big smirk on his face. Hillarious.
(No, they really didn’t drop the Bulldog)
