I was browsing POTUS's twitter and saw this photo. It made me very curious why 6 people including POTUS have thumbs up and the rest do not. Surely not random?

The thumbs up are to Trump's right...on the left ....clasped hands down

Left going down

I was wondering if it is because the people to our left of the picture could see POTUS and were joining in, whereas the people on the right had already turned to pose for the photo and did not see the thumbs-up.
