Sorry but Atlanta and Charlotte are hot messes.
Tampa is great, should be higher.
Nashville is nice.
Worst airport ever is Philadelphia.
Love the local/regional airports
I avoid (initiating trips) at the big dogs like the plague
In terms of dropping people off and picking them up, San Diego is pretty bad. People have to park and double/triple park to load/unload people.
St. Louis has a smooth system at least for dropping people off. You drive up to the departure entrance and you pull into a diagonal space. Unload the luggage and the passenger and then drive forward and left out of your spot into another lane of traffic to exit the airport.
I had no problems with Toledo Express. Of course I also lived in Toledo at the time.
Back then my company which was based in Toledo at the time was flying me all over and TOL was my weekly departure point and my usual arrival point. Sometimes plans got changed and I ended up in Detroit (and once in Grand Rapids - of all places - due to weather.)
Of course it has been a few decades since I flew out of TOL. United and Eastern were still flying out of there the last time I was there.. ;-)
Since I moved to the Birmingham area, I've had a few flights in and out of Shuttlesworth-Birmingham, and the security screens have been remarkably short, quick, efficient and courteous.
Phoenix has CNN on huge monitors at every gate.
Only members of the Inner Party have the privilege of turning off the the telescreen.
San Diego approach used to be scary in the 60s
LAX can take hours just to get into parking
Yes Burbank is easy
SLC is another easy airport
I agree with that.
I do not do tons of traveling but have flown in and out of Newark once and that was enough.
Fortunately, I live on the Peninsula. If lived in the East Bay I would definitely try to fly from OAK whenever possible!
