Possibly related to the bombshells dropped on Hannity tonight and the Ohr 302s released tonight, there is this tweet from POTUS:
Rod Blagojevich, the former Governor of Illinois, was sentenced to 14 years in prison. He has served 7 years. Many people have asked that I study the possibility of commuting his sentence in that it was a very severe one. White House staff is continuing the review of this matter.

I always thought RB was dirty, so I was surprised to see him locked up by the 0vomit administration. Because he knew too much? Because he was about to turn? Something is up with this, IMO.

Climbing out of my cave to comment — As much as I wish you were correct, I think youre engaging in wishful thinking. Blago was a buffoon, incompetent, and even the Democrats in Illinois hated him. He would call special sessions of the legislature and then wouldnt show up. He refused to live in Springfield, and commuted (on the remote occasion he even went there) from his home in Chicago on the state airplane running up lots of unnecessary expense.
He engaged in blatant pay to play and his idea to auction off Obamas Senate seat was the final straw. Patrick Fitzgerald was the prosecutor. I know some lawyers who know him personally and they said if he ever came after you you were screwed. He was one of the most focused and determined prosecutors youd ever meet. Nailing Blago would have been a slam dunk for any prosecutor.
During and after his impeachment and indictment and subsequent mistrial, he was on TV and radio constantly blasting prosecutors, judges, fellow democrats you name it. He was even on the Tonight show. He was on Trumps Apprentice and thats where he and Trump seemed actually like buddies. Although he got fired after the 4th episode, Trump always spoke highly of him.
Basically his self promotion and public disdain for judges prosecutors and those who brought him down spread far and wide in the media pissed them off big time. When he was convicted in his next trial they all got even. The judge threw the book at him. 14 years is a big sentence for doing what a lot of politicians are now walking around doing every day and dont even get slapped on the wrist.
No I think Trump recognizes that Blago got hammered because of his big mouth and Trumps awareness of him through the apprentice.
I dont think Blago has the goods on anybody. He still a joke in my book.
Thats my .02 now back to my cave
