Well, there was the Reagan years...

So there was.

Although I can't really recall any time, including Reagan, that I wasn't really, really watchful.

Growing up outside of Chicago and then doing 'Nam really made a cynic out of me, I guess. Grandma and the kids are probably the only reason I didn't go over the edge...and for certain are the only reason I didn't leave for NZ.

It was all wrong and we came to realize it... wasting one of our best assets, our youth, for ???. But we most of us did our duty in one way or another. I had opportunity to tell Bo Gritz how much I appreciated him; too many came home to be spit upon.
