High doses of Vitamin D3 also helps slow the growth of advanced prostate cancer. I have metastatic prostate cancer and take 10,000 iu twice per day. Five year survival rate is about 50%. It will be five years for me in two month. I also take several other supplements. I figure anything that won’t hurt me is worth taking.
Not claiming that is why I have responded to treatment extraordinarily well, every case is different, but my oncologist told me only a few patients have done as well as I’m doing.
Taking 10,000 iu of D3 may very well help prevent prostate cancer.
