What irks me is that these socially-awkward people are immediately labeled as "autistic" and coddled when they really just need to be shoved outside in the morning and forced to play with neighborhood kids until the streetlights come on.
Only problem is, most neighborhoods don't even had kids playing outside anymore. All the kids are indoors! Even on perfect summer days.
Do kids even go to Summer Camp anymore?
Anymore? Twenty years ago a nosy neighbor would get out of sorts because ours played in our fenced yard and sometimes walked (with the dog and me watching) down the street to a relative’s house. Older, it was riding bikes. Oh, the horrors!
