This article is BS on its face. It doesn't cost money to date. Anyone remember college? It DOES cost money to get married, though.

All that is required for dating is the desire, and I suspect THAT is the problem. Millenials are the most mixed-up, indoctrinated, gender-bending generation of all of them. They have suffered the full brunt of the left-wing, PC, anything-goes BS, and are lost in a sea of nonsense and confusion because of it. They don't have the slightest clue how male-female relations are supposed to work. Plus, who would want to date some purple-haired, nose-ringed, fatty feminist?

From what I've seen though, the younger ones may be rejecting a lot of that nonsense. We'll see.

Yes. They are in a tough spot and I don't see how it gets fixed.

My opinion -- Simple fact of biology: Women like Alpha males. They want a man who is strong, and dominant and who will not bend easily to their will.

However, the dominant culture has taught two lessons:
1) Men should be submissive and weak and be afraid of women because if the woman wants to destroy you, she will.
2) Women should be strong and bully anyone and everyone around them. Shout at people and be unreasonable. Bitch Power!

The end result is that these people mix like matter and anti-matter. Plenty of people find a reason to get out of the game.

There is a solution to this: have game and be a PUA.

One can go almost anywhere and see guys with no money and have women around them. They say that to get l**d a guy can have 3 things: 1) Looks/physique 2) Money/affluence/resources and 3) game.

Best to have all or a couple of them, but if you had to choose one that would be most important, it would be 3) game.

Granted we got married back in the Dark Ages but everything from the venue to the gown to the cake to the license was $500. You don’t have to have a multi-million dollar destination wedding that you spend the rest of your lives (or until the divorce) paying for it. But, yeah, millennials only know $$$$ weddings.
