I really have no idea what you are saying. I think I am right that the governor of Texas appoints replacements for interim vacancies of federal office seats; the Texas governor is Republican and would replace a Republican House member - John Ratcliff - with another Republican. The Democraps and their governor of California have basically outlawed the Republican Party everywhere that they can get away with it. Perhaps he would have to hold a special election; I'll bet they already have a plan to torpedo Nunes in his next election... we will see. Safer to leave Nunes in office.

The Governor of Texas can fill a vacant Senate seat, but not a House seat. House seats can only be filled by election. Look it up.
