Stringers? Aircraft?
From google.... “The fuselage of an aircraft consists, among others, of stringers whose purpose is to assist the skin in absorbing the longitudinal traction-compression stresses. Q.1. The purpose of stringers, used in fuselage construction, is to: a) Carry the loads due to pressurisation and convert them into tensile stress.Dec 24, 2011”

Other possibilities for “Stringer”. The first one seems more likely since Q is talking to the BO. Don’t ask me what it means, because I haven’t a clue.
https://godoc.org/golang.org/x/tools/cmd/stringer
“Command stringer
Stringer is a tool to automate the creation of methods that satisfy the fmt.Stringer interface. Given the name of a (signed or unsigned) integer type T that has constants defined, stringer will create a new self-contained Go source file implementing
func (t T) String() string
The file is created in the same package and directory as the package that defines T. It has helpful defaults designed for use with go generate.
Stringer works best with constants that are consecutive values such as created using iota, but creates good code regardless. In the future it might also provide custom support for constant sets that are bit patterns.”
Another, from the Arizona Capitol Times:
https://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2019/03/29/police-report-stringer-had-sex-with-minors/
“Former Rep. David Stringer repeatedly invited underage boys into his home for sex, according to records obtained during a House ethics investigation of the recently-resigned lawmaker.
The Prescott Republican was charged with eight sex-related offenses in 1983 after a teenage boy revealed details of illegal sexual encounters with Stringer that began the year before.
Stringer found the two boys, one of whom was developmentally disabled, in a Baltimore City park and invited them to his home to have some sex, according to police records obtained by a private investigator hired by outside counsel for the House Ethics Committee.
One unnamed victim interviewed by detectives said Stringer paid each of the boys $10 after the first encounter.”
“Stringer” also refers to a reporter.
Haha... I wasn’t thinking literally, but metaphorically. I didn’t explain my thought process at all! I don’t understand myself sometimes lol. So I was thinking someone or something to carry the load, pressure others ??, then squeeze the info out of them? (I gotz too much tv in my brain lol)
