"Barr has turned this one down for now - seems to be waiting for the bigger charges of FISA abuse."

This. No one can say later on that Barr was looking for a reason to prosecute. He's already declined once. Maybe next time he'll feel 'forced'?

The Company You Keep…

A lawyer representing three of Epstein’s victims has come out with a blinding flash of the obvious. Melian brought us this story where the lawyer, Spencer Kuvin, says Epstein’s life is in danger. He was commenting on Epstein’s recent incident that left him in the prison hospital for a day or two while they figured out what happened to his neck. More on that in a moment. We think everyone involved is painfully aware that the company Epstein kept (and cultivated) for decades might not want their reputations getting dragged into the forthcoming court case(s). And if you want a whole bunch of names and associations tied to Epstein, our esteemed FReeQ on the street Melianbrought over this long article with many, many, names and connections to dig on when you have the stomach, interest, or time.

Wild Oats…

As an older, married man, Jeffrey Epstein had some pretty old-fashioned ideas. Old-fashioned like Adolf Hitler. Ever the intrepid reporterette, Melian also dropped this little gem on the thread. It seems Epstein made it known to a number of acquaintances that he wanted to start a “baby ranch” on his place in New Mexico. He figured on keeping at least 20 pregnant women at any given time. And out of his benevolence, he would be the one to impregnate them. The goal of his pseudo-scientific approach to Hitlerian eugenics was to inject the human race with his DNA to improve our condition. Now, because this originates with the NY Times, and has now been picked up by every (left wing) news outlet, we’re disinclined to believe it. The Mockingbird media has settled on an “inoculation campaign”. For those unfamiliar, this has been a staple of cabal methods for many decades. That is to come up with something absolutely out-there-ridiculous when someone is facing accusations that later, when the truth comes out, it seems mild by comparison. You might not believe they would get so desperate that the cabal would try inoculation with Epstein, but here we are.

Snowballs Roll…

A few court documents have been released and are being posted on Scribd. Generally has been digging on these and posting along the thread. This link goes to a pile of phone memos that has already been discussed. There are other Epstein documents linked at the top of the page that we simply don’t have time to dig on right now.

Court Is Adjourned...For Now....

Epstein made an appearance today in court so the sides could argue about some upcoming dates. Biggbob was on it when we found out that Epstein’s trial is tentatively scheduled for June 8, 2020. The defense was asking for a delay, no doubt trying to set up grounds for appeal later on for ‘delayed justice’. Generally found this other article where the defense was whining about not having time to review a million pages of evidence. The prosecution has one million pages of evidence? Sounds great! The judge gave the parties until September 13th to file any additional briefs. Court observers today reported that Epstein showed no signs of injury or wounds from his recent ‘incident’ while locked up in SHU.

Man About Clown…

RadarOnline has reported that when guards encountered Epstein injured in his cell that they ‘jeered’ him. Presumably after establishing he was still alive? Evidently, Jeffrey Epstein has gone from “man about town” to “clown about town” and hasn’t garnered fawning respect from the correctional officers watching over him. For wealthy, privileged, pedophiles that’s probably a tough row to hoe. They also reported that his “face, feet, and hands” were blue. That’s kind of a weird description.

Truth Lies In The Middle…

Differing accounts of Jeffrey’s unpleasant stay lately are all out there. Unusually, Epstein apparently had a cellmate while in SHU named Nicholas Tartaglione. Inmate Nicholas, as discussed on this and the previous thread, is a former police officer on trial for killing four men in a drug-deal. Tartaglione says that he saved Epstein’s life after finding him unconscious and alerting the guards. Nick’s lawyer says Nick and Jeffrey are good friends. He won’t answer any other questions. If they did, we would ask, “what were Nick and Jeffrey doing in the moments leading up to finding JE on the floor half-conscious?”. I think that would be important to know. As always, the truth probably lies in the middle and perhaps Nick put Jeff on the floor in that state. Nick is really big dude. But he likes dogs, so he’s got that going for him.

Never Heard Of Him…?

Another find by intrepid Epitaph staffer Biggbob is the not unexpected news that Jeffrey’s friends are distancing themselves like the Road Runner from Wile E. Coyote. All those people over the years that Epstein counted as friends are claiming they took his money, but had no idea who he was. The article has gobs of names of people, foundations, and charities, who were all wittingly or unwittingly part of Epstein’s public image rehabilitation campaign after his first child sex crimes conviction. Melian found even more charity/foundation ties and posted them here for digging. So long, Jeffrey, we hardly knew ya’.

Damacles…

Andrew Cuomo signed a new law last year in the heat of the (pound)MeToo fad. It lifts NY’s previous statute of limitations for sex crimes against children and minors. It used to be three years for the victim to report or act upon sexual assault. The new law allows for victims to press charges against abusers until they are aged 28, and to pursue civil litigation against abusers until the victim is up to 55 years old. What was Andrew thinking?!? Good question. This new law was pointed out during the NXIVM trial because some of Keith Raniere’s victims approached authorities after he was arrested. They were told there was nothing to be done because the three-year SoL had expired. But the new law will expose Raniere to civil litigation from his victims for decades. Probably some of his minions as well (Clare and Sara, are you listening?). In Epstein’s case, it means a new accuser is suing him. He was served with a deposition order while in jail the day before his incident. Jennifer Araoz, now 32, has accused Epstein of raping her when she was 15 years old in 2002. So what, you ask? The so what is that the new NY law has a one-year grace period starting this August during which there is no statute of limitations for sex crimes against minors! There could be a flood of victims coming forth who will enjoy the legal protections for this one-year period. Pray for the victims!

Editorial…

While composing this edition, we couldn’t help but notice similarities between Keith Raniere of NXIVM, and Jeffrey Epstein of...whatever. They’re both pedophiles who utilized very similar modus operandi. In Raniere’s case, he sought out susceptible women and kept them in check with his pseudo-religious charisma and threats. In Epstein’s case, he sought out susceptible women and kept them in check with his pseudo-wealth and threats. They both used ‘groomers’ to go and recruit others. They both attached themselves to other wealthy glitterati to assume social respectability. They ran in the same circles: Bronfmans, Branson, Clintons, politicians, etc.

Discuss amongst yourselves and connect the dots.
