"Would you rather be poor and free, or wealthy and shackled to the machine?"

Strangely enough, that is the question that they want us to ask ourselves and then voluntarily pick up the shackles and lock them in place. But, like just about everything else coming out of their corporate mouths, it gives us an either or choice that hides (by omission) other, better, choices - namely, making use of their technology and productive systems to earn our livings and live comfortable lives, all while building the core of our lives outside of their system. It's not easy but nothing worthwhile is.

If you can't walk away then they own you. Don't let that happen.

Ulmius: "Then we will help to answer whether a free society can exist in an age of dystopian technology and mass indoctrination"

Technology is being used to enslave us - but it is also there for us to use in our fight to regain our lives and our stolen liberty. Just one of many pieces of their own technology that they fear - instant messaging combined with one-off pads. Secure communications are more possible now than anytime in history.

Hmm. Didn’t see this when I was just writing. This is a bit more clearly thought out than my muddled mess. Yes, exactly - think and see clearly, and don’t let the ‘man’ box you in with his technology and trickery. Live your best life, don’t settle for less, and enjoy the life that God has given you.

Grab all the freedom you can and enjoy it while the getting is good. :)

And again, to both of you - good day, sirs!
