I know too many women who regret having married/settled down too soon thereby missing the opportunity to pursue other interests they are passionate about...and some are divorced for that same reason.

Yes. People vary. My grandmother was married for 57 years, and raised 6 children. One day, when she was in her mid 80s, she was reminiscing about how hard it had been, living through the Depression, and other things. I said, "But if you had it to do all over again, wouldn't you?" And she actually scowled at me and said, "No. I wouldn't get married. I'd join the Army." I about fell over...

Then you wouldn’t have existed.

Is she saying she wishes none of her children or grandchildren existed?
