Too many regulations make humans too expensive to hire vs advancing technology.

You mean by tooooooo expensive is it takes away 1/2 cent/dollar of profit?

Yes. 1/2¢ per dollar is $5,000.00 of free money for every $1,000,000.00 in sales.

About 30 years ago American Airlines made a startling discovery. They determined that eliminating one olive from each passenger’s salad plate would reduce costs by $40,000.

The job is to produce goods/services objectively worth $X/hr.
The cost to hire someone/thing to do that job is objectively $Y/hr.
If Y>X, you’re losing money.
If Y>X for a human, but Y<X for a robot, you hire the robot.

It’s up to the worker to compete.
It’s up to the worker to earn a living.
