C’mon Man, give the sisterhood a break. I bet she was an Amazon princess who was died on a raid into Viking territory to bring back a suitable slave/husband.
After she fell in battle after slaying thousands of Viking warriors, they gave her a honored burial with her axe.
The purpose of archeology is to prove out historical myths and legends as real and exciting history. Otherwise all you got is grave robbers digging up dry bones, eh?
