Yes it is normal procedure. When a C-130 at Fort Bragg in 1988 or 87 crashed doing a tank extraction exercise in front of crowd from the 82d Abn Div they took media devices and removed anything. It happened at State as well when I was there.

Yep -- "normal" procedure, indeed -- just like when they bulldozed the ruins of the Waco "compound" and demolished and buried the remains of the Murrah Building -- before any other outside agency (including FEMA) had a chance to examine either...

Collecting evidence is one thing.

Destroying it is quite another.

Why do they destroy evidence?
