Sounds sorta like a science fiction novel I read as a teen, NOVA by Samuel R. Delaney.
The book’s hero, named Mouse, had electric sockets in his wrists. He’d plug his personal space ship’s power cords into his wrist outlets & take off.
Musk strikes me as a guy who reads stuff like that.
The Exo-Squad cartoon had direct connection to Eframes.
That show should have gotten a couple more seasons.
