Resolved, that Donald John Trump, President of the United States, is...
- highly fit to be President
- the most fit of president's in my memory to represent the American values of decency and morality, respectability and civility, honesty and propriety, reputability and integrity
- is the most fit of all recent presidents to defend the ideals that have made America great
- is highly fit to defend liberty and justice for all as extolled in the Pledge of Allegiance
- is extremely fit to defend the American ideal of all persons being created equal as exalted in the Declaration of Independence
- is one of the most fit presidents ever to ensure domestic tranquility, promote the general welfare and to ensure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity as lauded in the preamble to the United States Constitution
- is most fit of all to protect the government of the people, by the people, for the people as elucidated in the Gettysburg Address
So all it takes is one member to call for a vote on a resolution? Dang, I thought pretty much everything had to be referred to committee, with about the only way around that was getting a majority of the House to sign off on a discharge petition (isn’t it called that?).
Any experts on House rules out there? I wish Congressman Billybob were still around...
