Facebook Bans St. Augustine Quote as ‘Hate Speech’
FTA:
“the offending quote is this:
Let us never assume that if we live good lives we will be without sin; our lives should be praised only when we continue to beg for pardon. But men are hopeless creatures, and the less they concentrate on their own sins, the more interested they become in the sins of others. They seek to criticize, not to correct. Unable to excuse themselves, they are ready to accuse others.”
Facebook is hate.
!?!?!?!?!?
Every decent human being should close their FakeBook account.
Martin Luther was an Augustinian monk.
There would be no US Constitution without The Augsburg Confession
There would be no concept of self-determination (human liberty) without the US Constitution

I just now posted on my FB wall the admonition from Matthew 7:3-5 (NIV). In a comment to my post, I pasted the quote from Saint Augustine which has been labeled “hate speech.”
Let’s see what happens...
To that, I made this comment:
“This quote ^, which originates from one of Saint Augustine’s homilies, essentially repeats Jesus Christs command in Matthew 7:3 for people to focus on their own sins instead of focusing upon the sins of others.”
Waiting... while listening to Carly Simon:
“Anticipation, anticipation
Is making me late
Is keeping me waiting”
Because most of the silly valley employees are either atheists, hindus or muslims.

Hard to believe....but they are getting away with it.
The quote that was banned on fakebook probably lays some heavy duty conviction on the average leftist who is quick to point out the shortcomings of others and won’t see their own.
