On Twitter, pro-Trump Twitter users are increasingly registering their discontent with Dorsey by adding a red “X” emoji to their account names to claim they’re being “shadow-banned.”

Like the frog emoji before it—a reference to Pepe the Frog—the X has become a ubiquitous symbol in MAGA Twitter, while baffling everyone else.

Ok, it’s looking like I’m wrong on this one.

Or... (I’m not trying to make excuses or make myself “right” here, I’m just trying to see all sides and prevent a possible dangerous assumption).

Maybe the derps have co-opted that symbol.

Example: If non-pedophiles started identifying themselves by wearing red MAGA hats and people accepted them as safe, don’t you think the pedos would start wearing MAGA hats, too?
