Innocent question to so many who have long memories here: Did Nancy Reagan really have seances in the White House? I seem to remember the report. Like you said, I too thought it was a bunch of silly old women but it did trouble me. Today I know more and realize how very wrong and scary it is to have that done as if it is a common activity. The reason I think of Nancy Reagan is that the media seemed to make a big deal of it whereas HRC saying she talked to Eleanor R. was stated as an endearing fact.

Did a very brief search. I had forgotten about Nancy’s astrology fixation. Says she relied on astrologists and sought to control her husband’s schedule based on the info she received from an astrologist with whom she was in constant contact. Not the same as a seance but stupid.
Never a fan of Nancy.
I have no reason to doubt it. Supposedly she would consult astrologers seeking auspicious dates for various events as well. They made her out to be Imelda Marcos.
