Prince Phillip has been pretty mean to Prince Andrew and his family including the innocent granddaughters.
I suspect this is a big part of it. They had the goods on his creepy son.
The queen has gone out of her way to be good to the two daughters of Andrew and Fergie. She doesn’t want to blame the kids for the behavior of their parents.
