This story is good for a laugh but I’ll go out on a limb and say that the women didn’t take it very seriously.Most professional athletes aren't going to put their bodies on the line and risk a career-ending injury over a silly exhibition game.

Every women’s soccer game is silly. Even most men’s games are silly, though I do enjoy the dramatics when someone is nudged.
