Having sat in a big company board room I can say that the first consideration is always, “what is our liability?” The more “rights” the government gives a group, the fewer of that group wins employment. The risk of hiring them is too high. We saw this with the plunge in disabled employment right after ADA passed.

Exactly.
The government is conferring the right to sue for every perceived violation of their rights, however loosely they choose to interpret those rughts.
Ghetto blacks routinely claim housing discrimination when they’re told to turn off the earsplitting rap music.
