I’ve told people that have anemia to cook in an iron skillet and they think I’m nuts.

Is your SIL friend not have long in this world? That’s a sad situation, to say goodbye. Glad you’ll be there for her.

I’m chronically anemic. Iron skillets and pots don’t help. Taking two iron tabs a day doesn’t help. Injections of B12 don’t help.

When I read about your friend needing her blood filtered, I tried to process that idea. I thought that she would need to go to a center of some sort, they stick a needle into her, hook her up to a machine and she waits. That is horrible! I don’t like needles stuck into me.

I’m laying here on a bed enjoying the sunshine, but actually, I’m not doing anything. I just don’t have the energy. Anemia makes my thinking cloudy. I can’t process words and ideas as easily as I wish.

I feel sorry for both of us.

Her friend died and today is the showing. My SIL is the youngest of ten. So her friend was at a lot of our parties through the years. The family always ask friends who have no where to go or need to be around a family event. Our get-togethers always turn into a very large gathering. So to get back to the subject...We all are friends with our SIL friend.
