My other house loved African Violets. My kitchen window was perfect for them. I might try hanging one from the rafter on the cat porch and see how it does. My Sammy is a rascal around plants. That's another reason why I insisted with my porch builder..I wanted rafters on the porch.

African Violets LOVE Eastern light. My Great Room faces East and that is the one plant I haven’t killed yet. I learned you NEVER water them from the top. Sit them in water and let them absorb from the bottom.
