Q Ping - Ready?

On September 1, 2018, Q drop #2054 carried President Trump's declaration of National Emergency Preparedness month, reminding us of our responsibility to take "time to focus our attention on the importance of preparing our families, homes, businesses, and communities for disasters that threaten our lives, property, and homeland."

Today, Q drop 3350 simply said, "Be ready." We have longed for resolution to this fight - and the call to ready ourselves is an important step forward towards MAGA!

Since we have no idea what changing conditions we could need to adapt to quickly, or for how long, using standard emergency preparedness instructions provides versatile strategies should the need arise. It's likely the only "new" preparation to add to standard instructions will be that we save offline any red-pill information in (ideally) print form as well as electronically in case we need to support friends and family who would certainly be stunned by DS disruptions.

I've often encountered FReepers who "live the prepper lifestyle." Others may have researched preparedness in the past. Some have not had the time and/or energy to prepare because they are carrying amazing responsibilities and or have health issues and other limitations. And then there are many in our lives who are completely unprepared and are unaware of the need to prepare.

I am requesting assistance in pooling some information that we and others can use to evaluate our own preparedness to identify any overlooked details or opportunities we can address. Our time and energy in taking care of this important responsibility will not be wasted as such preparation is designed to handle otherwise "ordinary" natural disasters/emergencies.

I would like to organize information based on the targeted audience. If you have information or know where it can be found (linked) could you reply to this post directly and specify the intended audience for which your information is best suited? Here are a few basic audience groups that come to mind:
People who are entirely unprepared, and likely some without the resources to suddenly "stock up." What are the "baby steps" for those just getting started? I don't want to overwhelm people - what are the tasks and materials to focus on first?

People who have done some preparation and/or planning but aren't sure whether they've covered the basics and what they should focus on next.

People who prepared a few years (or more) ago and haven't checked their resources lately - what should they focus on refreshing or filling in?

People who want to assure themselves that their preparations are complete.

People with the resources to help others in their family or neighborhood prepare, or to buy/store resources for them in an emergency. This may just be a question of encouraging them prepare for emergencies along with you ("Let's do this. No better time like the present!"). It could mean stored water, food etc. you set aside for those who simply wouldn't believe there's ever a need to prepare or lack the resources.

Hopefully by providing information and tips, we won't discourage anyone who might get the false impression that if they can't buy/store/plan everything right now, they've failed. Information and a community mindset IS an important, free resource as is planning.

I will seek this kind of information on the 'Net, but if you already know where you can find good information, please post it by clicking "REPLY" at the bottom of this post. If tips and links regarding preparations are posted in reply to this post, we can all access this post and click "View Replies" to find any suggestions provided.

At the very least, we will prepare ourselves and others for natural disasters down the line, as President Trump has asked. If we look to our own preparedness now, we will be in an ideal situation to help those unaware of the kinds of social disruption the Deep State would like to create.

And here, I will note that Q has often asked us to pray - again something that is always wise to do.  Spiritual preparation when facing challenges is POWERFUL.

I encourage anyone feeling stressed by Q's order, "Be ready," to start with a Q approved strategy - pray for guidance in making preparations you are able to do, and in the best manner possible.

What are things we might expect to be impacted?

Power, which is disruptive, but most can do flashlights and fire for a while.

Fuel. Fill up all the vehicles, etc.

Cash. The ATMs may be impacted.

Get prescriptions filled/updated. Build up some reserves
if possible. Some folks have been able to reduce heavy duty
pain killer use dramatically, by substituting 50 state legal
THC free Cannabis extracts. http://cbdforthepeople.com is a
place to check out if that might help you.

Better to fill the pantry before the stores are emptied.
Provide for any pets.

Water can be a tough one. If water service is affected,
how long can you keep the toilets flushing, keep clean and
hydrated?

Get and fill some barrels or something.
A means to filter water to drinking quality, too.

How old are your first aid kits, bug out bag perishables?

What personal hygiene supplies do you wish to run out of last?

Communications? Family meetup planning? Security?
Getting to know your neighbors?
All things to think about.

Back to power for a bit.
Doing without electricity for some, is not an option.

CPAP machines, medications that need to be kept cold,
or even frozen, communications and/or security equipment
to keep online, mobility equipment to recharge, etc.

To seriously consider keeping such things going for a couple
weeks or more without the mains, involves trade offs between
expense, noise that might attract unwanted guests,
applicability of potential alternative power sources and
power storage capacity and efficiency.

Lead acid batteries recharge slowly and inefficiently,
should normally be discharged only halfway, and are very
heavy. LiFePo4 batteries can be discharged 80-90%, recharge
much faster and much more efficiently, last much longer
(more cycles) weigh 1/3rd as much, but cost a lot more.

If you want to do some not grid tied stealth wind/solar
solution to keep a Dometic Freezer running or that oxygen
concentrator pumping, in a quality fashion, check out
BattleBorn batteries and the chargers they offer, and
Victron Energy controllers and pure sine wave inverters.
$$$$

It can be done for less, but with trade offs.

Been prepping for 15 years (Beans, bandages, bullets, water, solar, comms). I don't have diabetes but know a couple of peeps that do so I did some digging.

Walmart sells old style insulin (3 types) that would keep someone alive if they couldn't get their regular stuff. It's much cheaper and supposedly can be kept unopened in a dark place in the back of your fridge for a couple of years.

Being prepared, having a plan and testing that plan will give you a sense of preparedness. When a natural disaster does occur, the planning lessens your panic.

1 - Spiritually - Where is your trust properly placed: yourself, govco, mankind, God?
2 - Mentally
3 - Skills
4 - Situationally aware
5 - Family member or neighobors an asset, liability, or a deadly threat?
   a. What will your response/prepardness be with them in mind? Assist or avoid?
6 - Community resources and response times: medical, police, fire
7 - Hunker down or bug out? Water, food, medicine?
8 - Useful reference information - contact #s, that "weed" food?, eat that bug?, med traumas, fix my ?
9 - Legal docs - Who are you? What can you prove is yours? Proof of insurance?
10 - Transportation - walking man's friends?
11 - If you have to walk away from it ALL
12 - If you are carried away from it ALL
13 - No access to money. A gold bar buys an egg???

The Preparedness Message Isn’t Reaching the Public
“There’s a ton of research that shows that threat-based messaging and showing the horrible pictures of the collapsed buildings and the floating dead bodies does not help you prepare, but stops you from preparing because it triggers the overwhelm factor.”

The proper message isn’t tied to having a kit but to developing resilience every day.

The consensus is that many families don’t have an emergency kit. “We say, ‘You need to get a kit that has food, water, a radio, flashlight.’ The list goes on and on,” said Dallas Emergency Management Director Kevin Oden. “Well, those costs really add up and most people can’t do that.”

He said it’s better to ask people to prepare over time by bringing home extra water or nonperishable food when possible. And the best kits are not ones that were purchased whole but the ones built from supplies families use regularly and will use during a crisis.

One thing that is fairly easy to do is to get a backpack and fill it with items you feel are necessary. As a woman, if I’m in my car, I often have nice dress shoes on. The last thing I want is to be caught in an earthquake or other disaster and have to walk home with nice, uncomfortable shoes. My backpack is stuffed to the brim. Flashlights, tools, work gloves, bandannas, duct tape, sweatshirt, socks, tennis shoes, water, some food bars that will last forever lol, extra batteries, a solar charger for my phone (that is if everything works), and whatever else I can shove in there. I go through my backpack twice a year. I make my husband carry one in his car as well. In the trunk of my car I also have a large tote box with more items, like towels, paper towels, a bigger first aid kit, a few gallons of water. I also have items for my dogs. This is just the vehicles, not our house. A fanny pack is also a good extra item. I rarely wear a belt, but I do wear a bait bag for dog training or keep it in my car. It’s a just in case. I have an umbrella hanging from it and pepper spray. (I’ve had a couple of dogs come after my dogs and me while walking, so hence the umbrella. Most dogs are afraid of an umbrella opening.) I may or may not carry other items lol.. then again I may have lost them while boating). I feel that’s an easy beginning. Many of us spend a lot of time in our cars, so ask if you can walk the 20 miles home in what you have on. HTH

Some quick introductory notes on preparing {prepping} for an emergency. The first thing to determine when prepping is whether one is preparing for a brief emergency or for a longer term disaster. Another first consideration is to decide how many individuals - and pets - one is providing supplies for.

Do NOT be deceived by the full shelves you see at your grocery or pharmacy. Modern U.S. history has demonstrated repeatedly that in case of pending emergencies people rush these stores and the shelves can be emptied within a day.

The two main items you must provide are food and water. FEMA has determined that a family of four needs a minimum of 28 gallons of water for one week - 53 2-liter soda bottles. That figure assumes some frugality of usage - mostly for drinking - and that users are staying in one location with minimum activity. More activity by any individual may require more water consumption.

If water is to be stored for any length of time, some containers will be required and some preservative should be added. Prepper suppliers such as The Ready Store sell water containers from a few gallons up to 50 gallons, and also sell a preservative, although a few drops of bleach might suffice for preserving the integrity of drinking water for months.

Food is less critical, except perhaps for children. Again, the more activity required for survivability, the more food and quality of food will be required. Protein is essential for meeting muscle energy requirements, but carbohydrates are converted to sugars which also provides energy for the body. For short term food storage there are plenty of shelf items at the grocery store that will suffice: canned goods, sealed bottled items, dried goods. Most will list a date of usability on the label, although many are good for much longer than label dates; good judgement is necessary. For example, a good all around general food is peanut butter, which stores well for a few years; obviously not indicated for those with peanut allergy.

Another consideration for some are medicines. It is possible that many will not be available after a few days in an emergency situation. I take advantage of the insurance allowing me to refill a prescription a week before I run out. I take the left over Rx and store them in a dark glass container with a seal under the lid; adding wax paper under the lid can improve that seal. Many meds, especially tablets, are viable quite some time after the expiration date; expiration dates are determined by lawyers in order to protect the manufacturer in unusual cases and circumstances. Again, some judgement is required.

Keep some cash on hand; ATM's may not be working.

One last immediate need might be vehicle fuel: gas or diesel. A few 5-gallon containers are useful but storage can be dangerous; beware of any fire hazard... fuel can be explosive! A good container will seal fumes from escaping. Some preservative is needed for storage for more than a few weeks. I use Sta-bil to preserve gasoline; it is avialble at WalMart or auto supply stores. Place a label on the container's handle to indicate when the fuel was stored and if the preservative was added.

I somewhat recently finally cycled through remaining stored food items from about 1980 - a bit slow responding. The remaining canned oatmeal had taken on a taste and I disposed of it. A few days ago a carton of six #10 cans, three with oatmeal, arrived from the Ready Store - good for 25+ years of storage. I just have enough storage space remaining for these 6 #10 cans.

I have about 1 gb in survivability files covering a wide variety of subjects. I could provide the bulk of those on a thumbdrive {some of it copyrighted material} if anyone is interested. Subjects range from communications to EMPs and Faraday cages to camouflaging stored items; food, fuel, bio-waste, on-and-on.

I haven’t had time to research yet so I’ll just drop off preparation suggestions that have floated aimlessly through my head in the last 12 hours.

Food pantries - if you or those you love do not have the resources to buy and set aside extra food, food pantries are the place to go. If you are prepped but your friends, neighbors, or family members are not (and/or cannot afford to), you can collect food on their behalf.

In my area, food pantries distribute non-perishables and those operated by churches provide them freely, without asking for proof of need etc. All are welcome at church food pantries - atheists and those of other faiths are warmly provided for without hesitation.

Many different faiths operate pantries and so it is possible to visit more than one food pantry each month if you need to set aside food for more than one family member or friend. In the event of emergency, these are the same resources that would be distributed to the public - by planning ahead, you help reduce the demand for volunteers or first responders to distribute food during times of actual need. Time-released support which benefits all.

Water
I lived in a remote countryside growing up with access to temperamental electricity. With outages, our area was last to have power restored. Without power, our little water pump would lose pressure in less than a day. While there was water in the well (and it was not open for bucket access) there was no water pressure to make it available. For those not living in remote locations, I’ve always read the estimate of 3 days of water pressure in urban areas, but I don’t know if that’s true anymore. In the 1989 earthquake living in an apartment, we lost water pressure on day 2.

If the power went out, we had no way of knowing how long the outage would last. After about 15 minutes, my parents and other families scattered miles apart, would give the signal to a)set water aside and b) conserve water.

So at the 15 minute mark, with the power still out, we would troop to the restrooms to fill the bathtubs with water. Bathtub water could be used to flush toilets, brush teeth, bathe etc.

In the kitchen, we would fill the coffee pot reservoir, the carafe and any pot of sufficient size for water to use in preparing food, drinking, and with the aid of a BBQ pit, washing pans/pots in heated water. We filled every available container of size because food preparation (rice, oatmeal, noodles etc.) can take quite a bit.

Laundry was out of the question so some people would fill their top loading washing machines with water. I’ve often read that you can line a garbage can with a plastic garbage bag (shown in the diagrams is usually a 50 gallon rubberized trash container) to provide alternative water - pets, washing etc.

Storing water was “the big deal” we addressed first. Important to have portable water (thermos, bottled etc.) if you have to leave the house or are away from home.

Conserving water
We kept supplies of paper plates, plastic cutlery, plastic cups etc. for use in outages because we didn’t want to expend the energy to heat water or to use drinking water for washing dishes.

(Ironically, many of the stored foods kept for such emergencies require significant amounts of water (e.g., rice, noodles), so canned soups and vegetables etc. are a strategic addition to food stores.)

Bathing was limited of course. For women, washing hair was VERY limited because it uses so much water. It’s possible to buy “Rinseless Shampoo” from beauty supply stores (Sally’s) or medical supply stores as it is used to wash the hair of patients lying in hospital beds and does not require rinsing with water.

If you’ve ever worked in humid areas where one shower per day is just not enough, you’re probably aware of towelettes you can buy to swipe away perspiration until your next merciful shower (unscented baby wipes in a pinch - scented if you’re feelin’ fussy).

There are various brands disposable towelettes to remove makeup but there are many brands which bill themselves as “facials” to simply cleanse the face. Though they are marketed for women, scientific experiments have proven time and time again that many men do not dissolve on contact should they use them.

Obviously, hand sanitizer is another great water saver, too.

We would continue to use water while pressure lasted until pressure became weak and then stopped before it ran out because we wanted to avoid air in the lines. When the power returned, and with it, water pressure, we “used up” the stored water (if any) on watering plants and pets, flushing toilettes (i.e., used up bathtub water), food preparation etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~
I keep decorative led-light candles around the house which have timers and operate on rechargeable batteries. The automatically illuminate at night. Prepping for me includes charging the batteries anew so they can function as room lights if needed.
~~~~~~~~~~
I worked for an employer who required all employees to function as first responder support in an emergency. Our phones were registered to receive emergency instruction on where to report to help out in an emergency.

We were required to keep a bag in our car containing sufficient supplies to be away from home for 24 hrs minimum. A change of shoes, clothes, food bars, water, medications, spare glasses/contacts, makeup, toiletries etc.) I continue the practice as it makes sense.

When I first loaded the bag, I put it in a prominent (annoying) place in the living room for about 2 weeks. During that time, whenever I came across something that I thought would help, I tossed it in the bag. That bag has wheels in case I have to traverse flat terrain. I stuffed an empty backpack in it in case there isn’t wheel-friendly terrain and I want to transfer essentials. I think back packs are probably the best universal solution for peeps - keepin’ it packed and ready. I’ve added a sleeping bag and pillow to the trunk.

That’s all for now.

Calm Despite The Storm

I LOVE the posts coming in to help us prepare in practical ways for some of the disruptions the Deep State may try to create. THANKQ!

I am also exploring ideas for preparing the mental fortitude that is required to weather the information/psyops war headed our way. We've seen doom and gloom posts on the forum, we've seen the left hinting that POTUS is insane (Ammendment #25 section 4), but I think maybe we haven't seen anything yet.

I just finished watching the video, QAnon - New Q! What does it mean? BE PREPARED for GOD AND COUNTRY by Citizens Investigative Report. If you don't have time to watch the whole video, I do recommend watching the first 5-6 minutes of it. She uses prior Q drops to remind us the ways in which Q and POTUS have tried to brace us mentally, to marshal our fortitude as patriots. For this reason, she features a few videos linked in Q drops early on, particularly the clip from the movie "White Squall."

Censorship, social ostracization and attempts to make reference to Q "dangerous" - we've seen the beginning. The Deep State talking heads are gleefully relaying "news" about the FBI's attempts to identify those who post on 8ch for the express purpose of intimidating Anons from reading and posting about Q (All for a larp?). The Deep State talking heads love this tactic because they get to pretend they're pushing the story because they "care." I've seen that story every day since it broke. Now, imagine these malevolent psyops seeds growing to enormous size.

Attempts to divide us along racial, ethnic, political lines etc. may be pushed farther than we've ever seen.

Fear is their weapon. The pastor of my church once said that "Fear not" was written in the bible 187 times because we needed to hear it; we're prone to it. Now that we know the MSM lies whenever it serves them, it may be hard to know if FF reports are even vaguely true or if they are simply intended to inspire fear.

But there are things we can turn our attention to which can help us focus on the prize. Philipians 4:8 is a good starting point:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Videos, books, music - these can inspire and uplift and prove a counterbalance to the dark sickness of the cabal that we read about. Perhaps you have favorites you want to set aside for the coming days as an antidote for what troubles the spirit. A personal favorite of mine is the video That's My King (REMIX)

There are times when righteous anger serves a purpose. If you were to find yourself on edge in the turmoil the DS will attempt, recalling their crimes and fueling the firey demand for justice can displace tension. For example, did you know that Hillary Clinton happens to be out of the country? Yes. She's in Ireland at an church/organization that helps children struggling with significant illnesses. Here's a picture from the video I linked above (h/t Citizen's Investigative Report). Seeing Hillary baring her teeth at a baby dressed in red shoes is utterly infuriating.

I believe that in addition to profound horror, righteous anger is the reason why Q drop 2051 includes the words "Those who know cannot sleep." At times, such anger in small doses can steady frayed nerves. Even the mildest temperament can be provoked to utter the words, "BRING IT!" through clenched teeth.

The valor of our warriors throughout history and up to the present inspires. There's so much to reference; their acts of bravery are often hard to fathom (2065). Some of us might pick up books or watch videos of the best of our military's honor and spirit so that their valor will bring out the best in us, inspire us to our own best.

There's music, hobbies, movies, friends and so much more that can help us to maintain our focus instead of dwelling on rumors and "concerns" the media with throw at us. It may be wise to decide in advance to ration your exposure the Social Media and MSM "leavings."

WWG1WGA is particularly powerful in such times as these. We are not alone, as Q has often reminded us. At times, we may need to remind each other. :)

There's always prayer (e.g., 2904). I encourage anyone feeling stressed by Q's order, "Be ready," to start with a Q approved strategy - pray for discernment and guidance in preparing for all the ways the MSM and Deep State will try to stampede the public and otherwise distort reality.

If you have any recommendations, either secular or spiritual, please click reply to this post and share them.
