First Democratic debate was a good night — for Team Trump

By John Podhoretz

FTA:
Julián Castro (polling average: 0.8 percent) took over the proceedings by challenging his fellow candidates to endorse the repeal of Section 1325 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act.
...
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Warren — poll average 12.8 percent — could barely get a word in edgewise.
...
Gabbard, who seemed to be bidding for the goth vote with her dramatic shock of gray hair, said the Taliban didn’t attack us, al Qaeda did. Ryan’s expression was like Mugatu in “Zoolander” asking if he’d been taking crazy pills.
...
They weren’t just immigration doves. They were immigration antinomians, who disapprove of the enforcement of the laws passed laboriously through our democratic process.
...
All in all, Democrats spent far more time talking about how they would help illegal immigrants than about how they would help the voters they most need to win over — the white working-class Obama voters who pulled the lever for Trump in 2016.

Debate of the Losers

9 radicals with no shot at being elected to anything redistribute each other’s time.

Daniel Greenfield

FTA:
“Who is this economy working for?” Elizabeth Warren asked, doing a hand hatchet chop in a tribute to her imaginary Native American heritage while claiming that it was just working for those at the top.

Like her.

Not only was Warren wealthier than most of the other candidates on stage, but she was called on three times as often.

As part of their commitment to redistribution, the socialist candidates redistributed each other’s time. But, despite their supposed commitment to redistribution, they resisted speaking time socialism.

The DNC could publish the historical records of how Stalin and Mao Tse Sung came to power and run on a DNC platform declaring they would treat the Republicans and Independents the same (dead) if elected and they would still get half the vote. America is in trouble.

I think it’s very interesting people thought Tulsi won the debate. She might be one to watch. Certainly the one I find least objectionable, which makes her dangerous.
