Employees of the Boston-based online furniture company Wayfair are set to walk out Wednesday in protest of the companys decision to continue supplying furniture to migrant detention centers.
Organizing under the newly formed group, Wayfair Walkout, workers are demanding the e-commerce furniture giant cease all current and future business with contractors operating detention centers and establish an ethics code that empowers employees to act in accordance with Wayfairs core values.
The group sent a letter to the companys leadership last week, signed by 547 employees, calling for the end of operations that furnish detention centers.
We believe that the current actions of the United States and their contractors at the Southern border do not represent an ethical business partnership Wayfair should choose to be a part of, the letter said. In the message, employees said the company recently fulfilled an order of bedroom furniture worth $200,000 to be sent to a facility in Texas housing migrant children and operated by BCFS, a non-profit government contractor that manages detention camps.

Fire anyone who walks out. Losing this contract would severely harm the company and these fools would cut their own throats.
Only one solution, then. Shut down all camps and immediately ship to Mexico.
This is example #123,987,234 of the fact that the United States of America is teeming with people who do not identify as American, have no loyalty to the USA, nor to its culture, nor to its people, and will consequently bleed it dry and not shed a tear when it has died.
All superpowers/empires/powerful nations die from within, not from without.
That’s fine. No more detention centers. Keep them in Mexico and Canada.
[If they really believe in what they wrote they will not only walk off the job but resign their positions and engage in self flagellation for several weeks to atone for their past work at the company.]
Heh - this

You can find this group at Yahoo, every day of the week. Here’s a shock - they support only Democrats.
Yep. Good way to downsize easily. I’ll bet most of the 547 are near Boston hq. I saw that they have a large sized warehouse in Lehi, Utah when I drove down I-15 in March. I’ll bet a lot of those jobs could be moved easily.
I’m keeping a copy of that first paragraph to repost often - I hope you beat me to it on multiple threads - good work
Doesn’t Wayfair sell mostly furniture made in China?
I care, Ill load a bunch of them up in my truck and drive their illegal @55es back over the border.
Clearly, these are racist people who hate that their company is providing beds to hispanics.
Check this out from saltyliberal facebook:
Sounds like the prof is a self loather.
Because what “good human being” would want to provide and sell to a concentration camp?
This is the game that AOC and her compatriots are playing. By branding them as concentration camps, you also make it so people won’t want to sell or provide to the concentration camps. Making the situation even worse.
The end goal is to make open borders the only option. Period.
“Wayfair has over 12 million square feet of warehouse space in Europe and North America with a dozen fulfillment centers. As of 2019, the company offers 14 million products from 11,000 global suppliers. Wayfair employs over 2,300 engineers and data scientists and 3,000 customer service representatives in Boston; Berlin; Ireland; and other cities in the United States. The company expects to spend more than $1 billion in marketing and advertising in 2019.”
Looks like at a minimum they have nearly 6,000 employees, so the 547 will be downdown at the state unemployment office in Boston soon, because I am betting they are all from that $hit hole city.
The Government should be buying these from UNICOR (Prison Industries), not from Wayfair or through their operating contractor.
so let the detention centers for illegals be unfurnished
What, you don’t want to pay for someone else’s bedding either? :-)
Send the detention residents to these employees’ houses where they’ll be more comfortable.
