Okay, so the chart legend shows that both red and white is ice- white with no melt , red with melt. Looks like about the same area is still ice, just most of it with some level of melt- on the surface as described by the chart comments.

First blush makes you think Iceland is ice free.... Smoke and mirrors in exchange for science.

Yesterday, there were no clouds overhead, today it was 100% overcast, extreme weather I tell you!
