I went fishing yesterday after planting a small in tree in my front yard. I successfully avoided mowing the grass but DID take a nap.
Sounds leisurely but it helped filled my day as an free American. I didn’t have time to think about how sexually-straight I am or how my oppression grievance efforts were going.
I didn’t sit around and count all the friends I’ve made that are of a protected class nor did I actively point out cases of “offense by proxy” on their behalf. That’s because they never really ^asked^ me to be offended for them.
I did, however, discuss an issue (nuisance odor) with my neighbor that I believed will be resolved amicably.
I got home from the lake dead-beat from kayaking (caught 2 nice smallmouth) yet had enough energy to lower my flag before sunset. Then, I fell asleep in my comfy chair, reading Vince Flynn.
That, to me, is patriotism.
