Got home at 4:00 PM yesterday and immediately began covering pots and plants — 30 minutes after finishing it was 36 F and snowing!
Well Cletus here in Panama City, Florida it is 98 degrees and you gotta be careful outside or its sun stroke city, especially since Hurricane Michael uprooted almost every tree in Bay County. Lots of people here still living in travel trailers in their yards because houses are so badly damaged.
So yeah it’s summer solstice, longest day of the year. We here will be glad for days getting shorter.
I woke up to 86F on the way to 103F, and a dead blower motor on the AC. $2K later, we're cool again.
