I "read and observe" constantly, and have all my life...but my interests are in science (PhD/Chem) and history. IMO, art would be far better off if Picasso had never been born.

There’s no hole in my theory. The right ignores and disdains artistic creativity and now we have two or three generations of people who brag that they do not understand or appreciate modern art the way fools once argued that they didn’t understand or appreciate impressionism. My recent use of the words “Les Demoiselles D’Avignon” was called “mumbo-jumbo” by someone on FR who didn’t even know I was using a place name.

Happily, the dogs bark and the caravan moves on.
