There was a Flying Tiger Freight airline for several years.
They flew 747 cargo planes with the tiger teeth.

I was on a Northwest 727 landing in Chicago when I spotted one of their airplanes.
Some Japanese tourists on the plane also saw the “teeth” and expressed amazement...

The airline was bought out by Northwest...

The airline was bought by Federal Express in 1988. ............

Flying Tiger not only carried freight, they carried people. They flew me from Sea-Tac airport to Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Viet-Nam, in a stretched DC-8, and we were packed in it. Made today’s economy class, that everybody complains about, feel spacious.
