Correct.
How do we know that haven't already?
In the article in pictures down below she's giving the white power sign.......
From world champions to humbling defeat against Under 15s side... World Cup-winning USA women’s team suffer 5-2 loss against Dallas academy boys (2017)
Was it Chuck Noll who stopped the Steelers from doing TD celebrations by saying one should like a TD is not special as we do it all the time.
It was a great lesson learned and it was the key factor in our teams championship run.
Couldn't follow that description - but it could have gone either way:
Sounds like your boys began body-checking the older (more experienced) women's team.
From then on, either the women began body-checking as well, but lambasted the boys by so many goals that they stopped counting past 9.
Or the women's team was blasted out of contention completely once “the gloves were off” and they were not cocooned by the precious silk-wrapped toys.
I figured as much. And its too early in the tournament to celebrate this way. Pride goeth before a fall.
Celebrate is how we Americans do Winning!
I’m looking forward to 11/4/2020 cause we AmeriCANS will be Celebrating Yugely:-)
The women’s team played disciplined hockey which frustrated my team. Kids spent the game chasing after the women. On the offensive side of the puck, the kids were too busy trying to skate the puck up the ice alone rather than moving the puck. They were schooled by the women on how teamwork and discipline beats selfish hockey.
Give it a couple decades or so, the world will catch up to USNWT.
Why some men seem to be so threatened...
Threatened? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Rethink your argument.
This team is utterly unlikeable. It’s a good thing I don’t give a rat’s @ss about soccer, let alone the female variety.
Let them celebrate as much as they want, however they want, as long as nobody gets hurt. For Pete’s sake! What a bunch of wimps political correctness has created to think that gloating over a win is a bad thing. It’s the “everyone gets a trophy” mentality.
Give it a couple decades or so, the world will catch up to USNWT.
Sure. I've been reading stuff like this for a couple of decades.
What a bunch of wimps political correctness has created to think that gloating over a win is a bad thing.
Gloating over a win has never been cool.
“Gloating over a win has never been cool.”
Why is it OK for the winners in football and basketball to go ballistic and make fools of themselves when winning, but not OK for soccer?
Re gloating over a win, I recall the very sad face I put on early in the morning 11/9/2016. (I didn’t.)
Wait until nations like China and Russia get behind their women’s teams.
I think the memorable aspect you’re alluding to is the extent of my occasional interest in sport for ladies.
Agree. Hubris is not your friend, ladies (or, ‘ladies’, as the case may be).
Why is it OK for the winners in football and basketball to go ballistic and make fools of themselves when winning.
Generally, it is not.
Save winning a championship...
