What you posted about the size is not even close to accurate. I don't know where they got that from......

Height: 2.2 – 2.7 ft. (Adult, At Shoulder)

Length: 3.9 – 6.6 ft. (Adult)

Mass: Male: 66 – 180 lbs (Adult), Female: 51 – 120 lbs (Adult)

What you have there are measurements from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. I’m talking about just body length. The body is usually measured from point of the shoulder (where the scapula meets the humerus) to point of the rump (hip meets femur).

The bigger sizes you list would be MacKenzie Valley wolves and the heaviest on record is 175 lbs (rumored to go over 200). It’s listed as having a head 12 inches long (Pleistocene wolf head is +25%).
