I don’t understand why they’d waste their time appearing as something that overwhelmingly winds up as simply *puzzling* - instead of getting ‘down and dirty’ and appearing as really nasty, ugly creatures that are going to bite out and consume one’s entrails.
The latter seems to be the way that demons were depicted in times past; and that would probably scare me, a little.
Cool vehicles in the sky that often exhibit very interesting maneuvers don’t scare me...they inspire me :-)
I agreed at your insistence to cease our conversation.

In the Bible and the “end times” it talks about a “person” that will bring “peace” and unity to the world. And the whole world will want to follow him. But it is really a demon.
One of the theories is that the it might come in the form of an alien - much like those old 1950s movies where the advanced race comes to save the earth from its primitive and destructive nature.
Demons that show up like monsters from outer-space get nukes lobbed at them. We welcome with open arms aliens that use the guide book “To Serve Man”.
“Amazon Women from Venus” might work too as a ruse to gain lots of followers.
Consider Screwtape Letters, by CS Lewis. The main goal of a demon would not be to scare children like some monster under the bed. The main goal would be to draw intelligent persons by subtle deception down a path where the ‘monster’ appears as a friend and helper, an angel of light, until it is too late to escape. ‘Cool vehicles that inspire you,’ would fulfill that purpose admirably. Unless of course they were really just cool vehicles. So much we don’t know.
