Let the world never forget the bravery and the sacrifices made by our American and Allied fighting men and what they did on June 6, 1944 and in the days thereafter.

And let us never forget the evils of Hitler and his murderous Nazi thug butchers:

In his D-Day Orders, JUNE 6, 1944, Supreme Allied Commander General Dwight Eisenhower sent nearly 100,000 Allied troops marching across Europe to defeat Hitler's National Socialist Workers Party:

"You are about to embark upon a great crusade ... The eyes of the world are upon you.

The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere march with you ...

You will bring about ... the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe ...

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle hardened, he will fight savagely ...

July 1939 The UK and France declare that they will aid Poland if it is attacked.

In September 1939, both the Soviet Union and Germany invade, and the country is divided in half

France and UK declare war on Germany, but not on the Soviet Union.

Why is that?

On further reflection, the “Greatest Generation” came around 3 times in history.

1.The generation during the time of Our Lord Jesus.
2.The generation of the American Revolution.
3.The Depression Era/WW2 Era generation,(American Greatest Generation in special way).

“D-Day “A Struggle to Preserve our Republic, our Religion & our Civilization”-FDR, June 6, 1944”

And today,June 6 2019, we have pretty much surrendered all that without a shot being fired.

On another thread I said this:

"I watched the recording of President Trump's comments a short while ago. What a tear jerker! Absolutely stunning! Then I listened to the full recording of FDR delivering his D-Day Prayer. Imagine any Democrat President today, asking Americans to pray continuously with him for the saving of this nation, it's culture, and it's religion. And to ask the Heavenly Father to protect the men fighting, and to embrace those who give the ultimate sacrifice.

His prayer is just as appropriate today, as it was on June 6, 1944. We face a different enemy today, but it's the same evil."
