Queen Elizabeth II has welcomed U.S. President Donald J Trump to Buckingham Palace to inspect the royal guards. The U.S. President and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, were flown to the grounds of Buckingham Palace on Marine One, landing on the West Lawn, where they were met by Prince Charles.
They party was also honoured by two 41-gun salutes fired simultaneously in Green Park, by the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery, and at the Tower of London by the Honourable Artillery Company.

“the Queen looked genuinely pleased to see him.”
She knows that Trump’s mother LOVED the queen and everything about England’s royalty. And I think he amuses Queen E, too. I suspect she’s a closet Trump Rally watcher, and laughs as hard as we all do with his schtick.
In Britain? Probably rubber.
LMAO!
I think her smiles look very genuine, she seems to be enjoying herself. Those don’t look like “polite” smiles to me. Her whole face seems to be smiling.
She may find him quite amusing, and probably quite refreshing. The impression I get from the pictures is that both the Pruesident and the Frist Lady are quite respectful of her and yet relaxed at the same time.
At any rate, I believe she’s quite happy to be spending time with them.
I think they’re sheaths.

She banned Sadiq Khan from attending the banquet. Not something you usually do, but for Trump she did.
Its funny, the Guards are usually the very best at that sort of thing. I’ve never seen them put a foot wrong when marching though.
I’d heard two stories — that she banned him, and that he never was invited in the first place. I hope it’s the former. Who’d want that swarthy pissant in the same room with our president and his family?
Same difference. Basically, she stopped him coming. The fact that Sadiq Khan managed to become Mayor in the first place highlights the truth of John Cleese’s statment about it no longer being an English city. The country outside of this degenerate metropolis would have no time for a politician who defended Islamic terrorists whilst having the gall to criticise Trump for anything.
