As far as looks go I don’t like the divider down
the middle of the rear window. Glad they lost it
in ‘64.
My cousin got one of these, new, for his high school graduation back in 63. He kept it for 40 years. He put Midas mufflers on it and every 24 months when they would rust out he would get them replaced for free.
A friend of mine in grade school’s dad had one. He was an OBGYN and he really brought in the coin and he knew his cars. His wife drove a 63 Buick Riviera, he had a 63 Vette (easy to tell because of the split window), Then he got a Porsche 911 and was that motor cool looking with the big fan. Then they moved.
Like I say did he know his cars.
A rich kid from up on country club hill ran over my dog in one of these. It gave me a worse attitude toward rich kids than I already had.
