Linked in also shows a younger attorney (probably his son) with the same name, who interned with Gillibrand for 4 months in 2009. Interesting.

I did some digging on him and the firm after you mentioned that a while ago. Talk about incestuous judicial relationships! DerOhannesian and his colleagues moving from the prosecutor's office to defense is...just wrong. He brags about the relationships he still maintains with the judges and cops and prosecutors as a selling point to having him defend you. And his firm is poaching other prosecutors to do the same thing.
He might have been the guy that declined to prosecute back in the 90's when an underage girl escaped from Raniere after being raped. I'll have to go back and look at the timelines.
