IMHO whether Ivanka followed specific protocol (and obviously it can vary) while the anthem was being played, is of little to no importance. She is not an America hater or globalist, that is clear.
And clearly people were taught different protocols growing up.
Not starting with you. Did not mean it as an attack on you. But I just don’t see how anyone could view this gesture of respect as bizarre, especially while in a foreign country. Ivanka surely has been briefed on protocol. There are WH people whose only job is that sort of thing.
