The thread had SUCH promise...
Satan was part of God’s own heavenly host, and part of Christ’s Church from the very beginning through an apostle.
Christ didn’t promise that we would be free from evil... His own prayer to His Father acknowledges evil must be guarded against. Satan himself walked and talked with Jesus and tempted Him.
Evil and the Church will always operate side by side...until Judgement Day.
Like Judas, Satan will walk inside Christ’s inner circle and seek ways to betray Him.
