I really wish Gillibrand’s father was discussed more. Most people have NO idea of his connection. Can you maybe post something on that to refresh everyone?

I'm with you. I think there are big ties financially, and maybe socially, between NXIVM and politicians of all stripes from NY and elsewhere. Adding the Bronfman sisters to Raniere's stable was a huge coup. They have the money, the social connections, and they're idiots. With special emphasis on high-school-dropout Clare. (how the heck does a billionaire's daughter end up a drop out?!?).

The Bronfman money brought to the table was a step in Raniere's plan to ingratiate himself with POLs and LEOs and make sure they turned a blind eye to his activities. Twenty years? Rubbing elbows with the NY body politic?

Witnesses have stated that no one ever heard of Raniere and Clare or Sara having sex. Although a lesbian/bi lover of Clare's (Sylvie Lloyd from the UK) was proffered to Keith. He arranged a wedding for Sylvie, but demanded she only have sex with him. And she did. For a while.

Back to the Gillibrands. Here's what I wrote to thinden a couple days ago.

The Gillibrand case is tough to discern exactly what happened. I wish their relationship with NXIVM would be a coup de grace to her political career but known facts don't support that. Her step-mother was the first in. She brought Kirsten's father in, who wasn't very impressed with the program. Before he left, Raniere had hired him as a consultant for just a few months. There is no known evidence that he or her step-mom ever got deeply involved in nefarious activities. Kirsten Gillibrand took money from Clare and Sara Bronfman just like any politician takes money from other rich people willing to donate. I believe Gillibrand took at least one NXIVM course but, again, that doesn't mean she knew of the cult's criminal activities.

Reasonable Man Theory would indicate that anyone around the Albany area for the past twenty years knew of the cult and their shady activities, but the burden of proof is tough to establish.

If memory serves, Sen Gillibrand's father married his cousin, her now-stepmother. The convo is over here
