I have seen it at night and in the daylight, and I understand your comment about the feeling of chilliness. Although my only connection to the Korean Conflict — other than having it occur during my lifetime — is through what I have read about it, the mood seems to be appropriate.

Would be interested in the opinions of those who fought there.

We had a guy here many years ago who was one of the Chosin Frozen. I think that was his screen name. He wrote many descriptions of what he and our men went through. It sounded like a description of hell, but they survived and did their duty and ultimately, won, at terrible loss. Reading that, I came away with disgust for the higher-ups who send our great men into situations without proper equipment and support. It happened in WW2 (our men were freezing at Battle of the Bulge) and in Vietnam (their boots, feet and socks were inadequate to wading through swampy land for days on end and having no place to clean up, among other inadequacies.)

It seems to me we do a better job of it now, but it can always be improved.
