When I read that, my eyes lingered on the word treason. The punishment for treason is death. Hillary, Obama, Brennan, Clapper et. al. would gladly push for charges of treason against POTUS and preen about their moral superiority, while advocating Trump be put to death, had they succeeded (assassination by any other name is still...). They would have parlayed that into a 24/7 media campaign orchestrating voters' flight from the "evil" republicans they would claim supported the "traitor."
Now that they are on the run, recent reportage on the Clinton's has changed dramatically. A 3000 word essay (Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Life in Exile: The Once-Powerful Political Couple Now Seeks Attention, Audience) meandered all over the place. After reading it and trying to distill the intentions of the piece, which both praised and criticized both Clintons, my impression is the piece is intended to show the Clintons as has beens - retirees - not in the game for a long time - of no importance. Like the scene in Star Wars, "These aren't the droids you're looking for." Apparently - the Clintons might be posing as "too little to execute."

I like where you are going with this. 0bama, Hillary, and the rest of the deep state had a treason narrative, locked & loaded and aimed directly at President Trump. You are correct, they and all their assets would have pushed for the most severe punishment for President Trump if they could get away with this.
Now this brings back "The Hunt for Red October" Q reference as the weapon they had planned to take out President Trump is now headed straight towards them and the deep state. WWG1WGA!!!
