Not sleeping is BRUTAL and I was up for close to 70 hours quite a few times in the years following the head injury. Pretty much OK now but I wake up with monster tremors. Every morning is an adventure! :)
Headaches were indescribable first 5 years then got better. They are gone.
Mine was 2007. Fell down cement stairs in NYC. Klutz!!

For about the first year they said I would sleep a lot, and did I ever, most of the day and part of the night. But not good restful sleep? No drugs.
They had me counting to five and thinking about it, count to six or seven ...no good, must pay attention and stop at 5., helped.
