Somehow I simply missed it??

I did lots of reading and headed over to Walmart and stocked up.
Tinea infections=RINGWORM of some type.

I wanted to try each one for a week and take notes.
And hopefully, pick a good one from the bunch.

HERE IS WHERE I’AM AT:

Tolnaftate 1% OTC Spray Powder $3/150g Best to date, mostly clear in three days.
Equate Athlete’s Foot Liquid Antifungal Spray, Tolnaftate 1%

The only nonprescription agent approved for both preventing and treating tinea infections.

Miconazole Nitrate 2% OTC Desenex Powder $5/85g Works well but does NOT finish it off.

Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream 1% OTC Lamcil $6/50g Works well but does NOT finish it off. Flares up on long hot days.

Clotrimazole Cream USP 1% OTC NO CHANGE after five days, and maybe worse. Gaining large dark purple spots!!!

Comes out very well in real-world tests/// I have yet to try it.

The dermatologist recommended using a ‘mild’ soap, I DID NOT THINK TO ASK FOR A RECOMMENDATION???

Been using Dial Gold for a long time. Switched to Irish Spring Wash 5. Checking the PH by washing hands as normal ‘feeling’ mix. I see Dial=8 and Irish=6.
Yes very subjective.

I’m certain the type of soap is connected to the outcome, unsure if PH is the correct approach?

It is reported that creams are more effective than powders, so I will be moving to all creams and perhaps a powder as a preventive?

Hoping to find a PERMANENT solution, have read that it has a high rate of recurrence, and that has been my experience.

Also, diaper rash and yeast infections are closely related if not the same problem.
